Fixed Dialing

Fixed Dialing lets you define a number of specific phone numbers and/or number prefixes to which a call can be placed or a message sent. If Fixed Dialing is enabled, you can only call numbers that are on the Fixed Dialing list. Please check with your service provider if you can make emergency calls (e.g. 911) if this feature is enabled.

Enabling fixed dialing

  1. Tap Start > Settings > Personal tab > Phone > GSM/UMTS Services tab.
  2. Select FDN on the list of available services, then tap Get Settings.
  3. Select Enable fixed Dialing. You will then be prompted to enter the PIN2 code.
  4. Enter your PIN2 code then tap Done.
  5. To add, edit or delete numbers, tap Menu.
